Bob began working with Beverly-Hanks Realtors in 2010 and realized from the start that his strong people skills and extensive business experience fit perfectly with the Beverly-Hanks commitment to professionalism and customer service. A licensed real estate broker since 2002, Bob also owned and operated a service station, convenience store and car wash in the Asheville area for 15 years. His experience as a convenience store owner taught him that the maxim “People are my business” is the key to excellent and consistent customer service.

Bob and his wife Debbie moved to Buncombe County in 1995 to redesign, renovate and open their convenience store and service station business. They began their married life together in Asheville, and the couple lives with their twin 22-year-old daughters (recent graduates from UNC) and a 18-year-old son (attending NC State) in the Haw Creek community of East Asheville. The Gardners are proud to call Asheville their permanent home and have become well-liked, well-known and respected members of their community over the past 24 years.

Bob believes strongly that Asheville and the surrounding area offers more than just beautiful scenery and wonderful weather. He says WNC's people and their strong sense of community are what made him realize many years ago that he truly had found his home. As a real estate broker with Beverly Hanks & Associates, Bob now looks forward to helping his clients and friends find perminant homes in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina.
